History:
Long back in 1979, Precise GmbH initiated its business in India with the help of
Mr. Latkar. In those early days, the technology of High Frequency Spindle was very new. Mr. Latkar requested Mr. Horst Lamers and Mr. Günter Berg from Precise Germany to initiate the promotion of High Frequency Spindles in India. Precise GmbH then agreed to offer their Spindles in India and we started our business.
Key applications for Precise Spindle system include mold and die making like bottle mold manufacturers and shoe manufacturers, precision milling and engraving, production machining, printed circuit board routing and drilling, internal grinding, glass industries like manufacturing of Spectacle glasses, precision spherical lenses, Surgical instruments manufacturers, and various aerospace applications. Other features that were incorporated along the technology development path include oil-air lubrication, ceramic bearing, and air bearing Spindles designs for special applications.
From the year 1990 onwards, Precise GmbH received a considerable number of new as well repair inquiries from different customers from India and it became very difficult to prepare the documentation for every new customer. Hence Mr.Günter Berg suggested setting up a service station in India for Indian customers. In year 1996, we set up our Service Station at Dombivli in Dist. Thane, India

Deepa, our Production Engineer, has been trained in Leichlingen plant, she took the training for necessary models for duration of about 6 weeks.Manish, joined Precise India in year 1999 as Executive - sales & marketing. It was necessary to increase our marketing activities to boost our sales. We started various activities such as visiting potential buyers for technical discussions, trials and new inquiries. We have also been advertising in important technical magazines to reach maximum customers.
In the year 2004 we shifted our service station to Kolhapur, which has modern office as well as repair facility such as a separate office, a repair room, a test room and a conference room. Our former President Mr. Dave Easley inaugurated this facility.
Precise High Speed Spindle Service Centre Pvt. Ltd shifted their works to newly built specious set up at G-29, Gokul Shirgaon Kolhapur from Feb. 2004. The new premises having dust free assembly, disassembly room, state of the art dust free temperature controlled Spindle testing room, Reception, Office, Conference room and extra space for future expansion in accordance to make more then one spindle assembly and testing at a time. The new facility also equipped with all metrological equipment for inspection of Spindle component & Spindles for trials & Demonstration. This facility equipped with all the necessary machines and tools required for assembly of High Frequency Spindles under one roof.
Recently in the beginning of year 2006 Precise GmbH merged with Fischer AG of Switzerland
The total range of Fischer Precise Fortuna Spindles includes variety of different models. The Spindle power ranging from 0.21kW to 100 kW and RPM up to 2, 00,000.
